Home Runs for Hope
June 30, 2018
Home Runs for Hope is a baseball tournament like no other! This is an 8U All Star (coach pitch) tournament that will benefit Hello Hope. The event is planned by Kids Booster, Will, because he wants to help hospitalized kids and their families.
A few years ago, Will was admitted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta due to a brain tumor. Today, he is doing great! Matter of fact, he’s doing so great that he is back to doing his favorite thing… playing baseball. Will is using what he loves most – baseball – to give back to other families who are experiencing what his family went through just a few years ago. Hey chose Hello Hope as his designated charity because they provide hope, support and resources to families while in the hospital.
Do you want to help Will and Hello Hope help others?
If you are an 8U team that would like to participate, please email Amanda at email@example.com.
If you would like to be a sponsor of the tournament, please email Kristen@kidsboost.org
If you have items you would like to donate to help make this a success, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
And finally, we would love your support the day of the event to cheer on the players! Please bring family and friends to Hobgood Park on June 30, 2018!
If you cannot attend the event but would like to help Will reach his goal, please head over to https://kidsboost.org/kids-project/william-t/
Thank you so much for helping us make a difference!
Unfortunately, due to a few teams that were unable to play, Will’s Home Runs for Hope tournament is cancelled for June 30. As you can imagine, Will is devastated. However, he is working on hosting his event at a later date. So please stay tuned!
We are thrilled to tell you that even though the tournament will not take place as planned, Will still raised a great deal of money for Hello Hope. He will still get to present the giant check because of his hard work and because of the support of you all! If you wanted to support Will and Hello Hope, you can still donate at https://kidsboost.org/kids-project/william-t/
Thank you all for helping Will provide hope for so many kids!
