Project description

I am hosting a fun field day with games to raise money for ITSAN. Some examples of the games are the 3 leg race, tug of war, ladderball, relay races, water balloon toss, and many more!

My project supports: ITSAN

The reason I chose ITSAN (International Topical Steroid Awareness Network) is because they help people with skin conditions like I had. I suffered from eczema, which turned into a condition called TSW (topical steroid addiction/withdrawal syndrome) when I stopped using steroid creams and it was hard. It was the worst during kindergarten and 1st grade. Sometimes I could not bend my knees because it was so raw and painful. Until 3rd grade, I wore pants year round because of the embarrassment and pain of showing the nasty back of my knees. I also didn’t like the beach because the salty water and sand made the back of my knees sting so badly. ITSAN helps support patients and find solutions so they don’t have to suffer like I, and many other patients, have.
