Project description

We plan to raise money by hosting a hot chocolate and treat stand on December 17th at our house. Please drop by anytime between 3-6pm for a warm cup of hot cocoa!  We will have some fun toppings, treats and a spinning wheel so you can win a prize. We think that this fundraiser is going to be the best fundraiser ever!

My project supports: Meals on Wheels

We chose to raise money for Meals on Wheels because our Poppy used to cook for a senior center and make deliveries for Meals on Wheels. He passed away five years ago and we want to help Meals on Wheels in his honor.  They provide elderly people with food if they can’t leave the house. They also give them company. This is important to us because we think that the elderly might feel a little lonely if they live alone and don’t have enough company. Meals on Wheels can help them feel like they aren't lonely anymore and might make them feel good if they have people coming to their house and bringing them food. When Meals on Wheels comes, they probably feel like somebody cares about them and that they have somebody to care about too.
